New Techniques for Earthquake Hazard Mitigation
July 15 2013 – July 25 2013 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

This Advanced Studies Institute was designed to enable early career Earth scientists who already have mastered the fundamentals of seismology – including post-docs and graduate students – to begin collaborating in frontier seismological research. The objectives were to develop understanding of the principles of earthquake hazard analysis, particularly site characterization techniques, and facilitate future research collaborations.
